This image of the Kansas City skyline was taken in late June under an almost full moon. This was taken at about 10pm and the temperature was still 88* with a humidity level of 5000%. It was hot and ugly!
The toughest part of this shot is the framing. The composition. It’s hard to get in all the elements in one exposure and I may try a panorama stitched image on my next shoot in this area. This shot was taken at an amazingly low ISO of 400 (thank you moon), Shutter Speed of 3.2 seconds with an Aperture of f8.
You rarely know what color cast you’re going to end up with when you shoot a photo and I was real pleased that the sky went a nice shade of purple with the last light of day as it blended with the light from the moon.
